Job Summary:
NewGen Technologies Inc. has been addressing complex IT challenges for over 20 years, focusing on integrity, security, and exceptional service. They are seeking a Multi-Cloud Engineer to provide technical support for customers' broadcast systems while managing cloud-based networks and programming responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to all of the customers' broadcast systems as a Cloud Engineer with programming responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• TS/SCI FSP Clearance
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of cloud-based networks with very high data security requirements
• Demonstrated experience with AWS and cloud services to include API configurations
• Demonstrated experience with programming languages including Python, Linux, C++, and Windows shell
• Demonstrated experience with operating systems such as Linux and Android
• Demonstrated experience with scripting languages such as Python, C++, and Perl
• Demonstrated experience with System Administration such as Linux RHEL, patching, server installs, firmware upgrades, and testing between firmware/patch levels
• Demonstrated experience with Cloud Engineering such as familiarity with medialive, automating dynamo table updates, troubleshooting within the cloud platform, and providing input on troubleshooting toolsets
Preferred:
• Demonstrated experience with analog and digital communications with Satellite, terrestrial TV, AM, and FM radio
• Demonstrated experience with video codecs and streaming technologies
• Demonstrated experience with video encoding equipment and processes
• Demonstrated experience with specific broadcast systems such as a specialized FM radio system and the Sponsors TV and radio signal devices such as scalable portable remote devices
• Demonstrated experience with IP network routing and switching
• Demonstrated experience performing installations, configuration, and operations of broadcast equipment
