Job Description

UNIX (1) Linux (2), Basic OS administration, compliance/security/patching/audit/antivirus, automation/scripting, incident/problem/change management, 

Skills Required: 

1) Installation, upgrade, configuration, and support of AIX V6.x x7.x operating system software.

2) Installation and support of IBM LPAR and VIO configuration software. 

3) Installation, configuration, and support of third party software products. 

4) Installation, configuration, and support of firmware/driver software. 

5) Installation, configuration, and support of IBM HACMP software. 

6) Installation, configuration, and support of IBM NIM software. 

7) Will not be required to define Zoning/LUNs but must understand the environment. 

8) Provide technical support to identify and resolve complex problems related to product/service installation, update, configuration, operations and performance. 

9) Experience with IBM Virtual Partitioning a plus. 

10) Must be able to work independently when given assignments.
