Radiance is searching for an experienced Systems Administrator to provide support to critical computer systems and network infrastructure at the corporate facility. The qualified candidate will provide design, maintenance, sustainment, and enhancement support for the architecture in a classified environment; ensure compliance with applicable information assurance requirements; ensure 24/7 continuity of operations; and create and update relevant system documents. Work hours are normal business hours, however, occasional support during non-business hours may be required.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily, on-site, support for the operations and maintenance across multiple classification level environments.
  • Experience in the installation, configurations, and maintenance of Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux, CentOS) servers, desktops, and all network devices in accordance with all NIST 800-53A r4, DISA STIG, and SRG requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with information systems deployments in an air-gapped environment.
  • Experience in User account and access control management (Active Directory, LDAP, User Access Control) in a domain or stand-alone environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with integrating Linux workstations and servers with Windows Active Directory.
  • Experience with configuring and executing vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus), SCAP/STIG scans (SCC Tool, OpenSCAP, etc.), and remediating findings.
  • Experience with providing backup and recovery services; manage file systems and disk space.
  • Experience with log aggregation technologies allowing for the collection and filtering of Linux syslog and audit trails.
  • Experience with desktop and server virtualization within VMWare vSphere and EXSI.
  • Ability to gain comprehension of new technologies to assist with new requirement implementation efforts.
  • Good knowledge of the Linux filesystem.
  • Good understanding of permissions and user management.

Required Experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a System Administrator performing patching and configuring systems to be compliant with all applicable STIGs on a classified network.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with Linux operating systems.

Required Skills
  • Minimum of a valid Secret clearance with in-scope background investigation date.
  • DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification.

  • Understanding of networking concepts and cybersecurity related tools to include, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and vulnerability scanners.
  • Knowledge of and ability to securely configure network equipment (switches and firewalls).
  • Knowledge and experience with various network administration, monitoring, and security tools (Wireshark, Nessus, Snort, Netcat and PRTG).
  • Experience with SIEM tools, VMWare, NetApp, endpoint security tools.
  • Familiar with NISPOM/RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, and NIST/DFARS compliance security controls and how to implement on various OS computer systems.
  • Capable of scripting or programming to automate tasks.
  • Background in utilizing Red Hat Satellite, Ansible, and other Linux orchestration tools.
