  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance (minimum requirement).
  • Certification: Active CompTIA Security+ certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Security & Compliance: Monitor and mitigate vulnerabilities within Solaris and Red Hat Linux (RHEL) environments to ensure strict compliance timelines.
  • System Maintenance: Manage, maintain, and upgrade UNIX-based operating systems across physical and virtual environments.
  • Backup & Recovery: Execute reliable backup and recovery functions for Solaris and Linux server infrastructures.
  • Technology Refreshes: Coordinate hardware and software upgrades, ensuring milestone compliance while minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Ticket Management: Resolve and document system issues using the IT help desk incident management system.
  • Disaster Recovery: Provide technical support and infrastructure expertise during disaster recovery drills and execution.
