Job description

From erosion control to liner systems and green infrastructure, our work makes an impact across the Southeast-and we're looking for people who want to grow with us.
The Liner Technician role is responsible for installation of geosynthetic lining, erosion control solutions such as Hydroturf and underground detention facilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a range of welding techniques, materials, and field detailing tasks. The responsibilities of this role include:
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE LINER EXPERIENCE.
  • Installing rain covers and geosynthetic materials such as PVC, HDPE, and LLDPE (30 mil to 100 mil)
  • Familiarity with RPP, Hypalon, or BGM
  • Prepare seams and weld/stitch liner using a fusion or extrusion welder
  • Fusion welding: wedge welding (setup and operation)
  • Detailing proficiency: installing boots and banding
  • Seal insulating material borders by heat producing machines and/or sewing
  • Stage and install various underground detention materials
  • Maintain a safe and clean job site
  • Promotes a positive work environment
  • Overnight travel 90% including work over the weekends. TRAVEL AND OUT OF TOWN WORK IS PART OF THE JOB. You WILL be away for extended periods of time!

Certifications (Preferred):
  • CWT (Certified Welder) by IAGI
  • OSHA 10
  • Equipment Operator Certification
  • 1,000,000 square feet of material welded within the past two years preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Work in all types of adverse weather and confined areas
  • Must have sufficient physical stamina to perform construction type work such as lifting and carrying approximately 90 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing in and around construction equipment for 8-12 hour shifts
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Satisfactory criminal background check for job access
