Job Summary / Responsibilities
Under general supervision, collects soiled linen from user area soiled linen utility rooms and transports soiled linen carts to primary hold area. Transports clean linen to user areas on a route scheduled basis. Stocks and restocks clean linen as required, assists truck driver with the loading of soiled linen carts and unloading of clean linen carts. Interacts with user area nursing staff to resolve routine related problems. Keeps department Leader or Supervisor advised of any reported linen problems. Maintains neatness and cleanliness of clean and soiled user area utility rooms. Performs other duties as assigned by department Supervisor. Responsible for the proper performance of assigned duties under general supervision, including the attainment and maintenance of production and quality standards.

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
