Job description

Production Operator Packers- Night shift -  pay is up to $24.00/hour - As a condition of employment, applicants must successfully pass a background check. In addition, we also participate in E-Verify to confirm work authorization. Thank you for your interest!
 

About the Role 

The Operator Packer is responsible for preparing packaging, package finished product, conduct quality inspections, interact with the ERP system. Other duties include assisting in setting up the line, making minor process adjustments, housekeeping, and special projects assigned by the supervisor such as sorting, reworking, grinding. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Inspects parts and record according to inspection requirements.  

  • Packages and labels according to packaging instructions. 

  • Removes all of the old tooling and return to the proper designated areas. Clean up area and prepare for the next job. 

  • Cleans, sweeps, organizes the workstation(s). 

  • Ensures all paperwork is complete and accurate. 

  • Inspects products and materials at various points during the manufacturing process for quality. 

  • Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor. 

What You Need: 

  • High School or General Education diploma required.  

  • Previous manufacturing or technical experience preferred. 

  • Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions. 

  • Must be able to write simple correspondence and effectively use the computer. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude. 

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. 

  • Proficient at using Microsoft Office Word, Excel.
