Job description

Our hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Sundays are a must.

The Line Cook works with a team to provide excellent, delicious, and consistently prepared food in a fast-paced environment. The Line Cook can proficiently cook recipes at each of the five stations as well as prep all ingredients. Food safety and ServSafe procedures are of the utmost importance, and each Line Cook is very familiar with these regulations. This team member maintains a great attitude during stressful and busy kitchen shifts, as well as assisting fellow line cooks and the Kitchen Manager as needed. Great service, great attitude, and great teamwork are key traits of this employee.


Job activities:

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Clean up the station and the kitchen
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out at high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Complete Temperature Logs and Checklists for daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Participate in all roles in the kitchen as required, including as dishwasher when needed


At times, the Line Cook might need to assist and be the Prep Cook.

  • Food Preparation:Washing, cutting, and portioning various food items according to recipes.
  • Station Setup:Preparing tools and equipment for cooking and cleaning.
  • Kitchen Organization:Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the prep area and storage spaces.
  • Inventory Management:Assisting with stocking and organizing food supplies.
  • Food Safety:Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Following Recipes:Accurately preparing food items according to established recipes and instructions.
  • Assisting Line Cooks:Supporting line cooks by providing prepped ingredients and maintaining their stations.
  • Working as a Team:Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Maintaining a Clean Work Area:Ensuring the kitchen is clean and organized at all times.
