JOB SUMMARY: This position has the responsibility of ensuring that all transactions concerning receipt of goods, production and finished goods are accurately maintained in ZECO's custom-designed operating system. The Production Coordinator is also responsible for trouble shooting the facility's automated blending software when necessary to ensure batches are produced accurately and according to specification.
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, Information Systems, or Computer Science
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Information Systems, or Computer Science
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 2-3 years' experience working with automated inventory/batching software
Preferred: 4+ years' experience in a chemical production environment
POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification
Required:
  • Have unrestricted employment authorization to work in the US
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Windows Applications, including Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Project a professional appearance with the ability to represent our company in a positive manner to our customers and employees
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
  • Ability to organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Strong technological aptitude with an ability to learn and troubleshoot software.

CORE COMPETENCIES (Essential Job Functions)
  • Partner with production planning team to receive inventory cycle counts and complete daily inventory cycle counts for inventory, reconcile the differences, and input cycle count results into X3.
  • Run a series of inventory reports daily, weekly, monthly to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain an accurate and consistent inventory reporting structure and offer enhancements for efficiency as needed
  • Monitor the MES system on a daily basis to ensure it is tracking batches and pack out operations accurately. Trouble-shoot and report issues to ERP, planning, and maintenance as necessary.
  • Train production compounders to accurately select and input the correct lot number and amounts of raw materials from X3 into the MES system to minimize the need to track production manually.
  • Train line filler on the MES system for pack out tracking by weight or volume to minimize the need to track production manually.
  • Input product Batch Creation procedures Batch Closing (Cost Tier Adjustments as Needed)
  • Record and input all Raw Material received in operating system
  • Transfer Receiving Lot Number Adjustments
  • Complete other duties and special projects upon request.
