Line cooks are culinary professionals responsible for preparing and assembling dishes according to a restaurant’s menu and standards. They work at specific stations along the kitchen’s 'line,' such as grill, sauté, or salad, and ensure each dish is cooked properly and presented well. Line cooks must work efficiently under pressure, coordinate with other cooks, and maintain cleanliness and safety in their work area. Their role is essential to a smooth-running kitchen, especially during busy meal services.
