We are seeking a LIMITED X-RAY TECH to become part of our team!
You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Handle all job responsibilities in a timely manner as described below:

  • Perform diagnostic procedures within the scope of licensure, achieving a high level of image quality in a minimal amount of time.
  • Maintains and be responsible for the upkeep of the x-ray room.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and ability to use an EMR system.
  • Perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to support medical staff and keep the office running smoothly such as accurately entering patient's information onto the EMR, answering phones, greeting patients, updating medical charts, handling consents and correspondence, ordering laboratory services.
  • Communicate with insurance companies for PROPER BENEFITS and BILLING Procedures.
  • Escorting patients to their exam rooms.
  • Entering Physician Laboratory orders using the EMR and able to complete requests matching patient's demographics with the correct billing information.
  • Taking medical history and recording vital signs.
  • Preparing exam rooms and patients for examination including assisting the provider if needed.
  • Preparing and administering injectables/medications to patients as ordered by the provider.
  • Follows standardized procedures (administering injections, emergency protocol, assisting office procedures, collecting specimens).
  • Replenish/re-stock all supplies and have the exam rooms ready for the next patient.
  • Follow HIPAA Compliance Regulations in protecting patient information.
  • Will perform other duties and responsibilities when assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields.
  • Familiarity with medical procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
Required:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Graduate of Medical Assistant Program.
  • LIMITED X-RAY PERMIT in TORSO, EXTREMITY, CHEST and DIGITAL IMAGING.
  • Minimum of 1yr Medical Front and Back office experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.

  • Bilingual or Multilingual
