Job description

Radiologic Technologist Outpatient Clinic, Per-Diem, Days

The Radiologic Technologist acts in a professional manner, responds to patient needs, and supports colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The RT uses equipment and accessories consistent with the purposes for which they were designed, employs appropriate techniques and procedures, performs services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team. The Radiologic Technologist practices technology founded upon theoretical knowledge and concepts while adhering to ALARA and HIPPA standards.

PIH Health is a nonprofit, regional healthcare network that serves approximately 3 million residents in the Los Angeles County, Orange County and San Gabriel Valley region. The fully integrated network is comprised of PIH Health Downey Hospital, PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital, PIH Health Whittier Hospital, 37 outpatient medical office buildings, a multispecialty medical (physician) group, home healthcare services and hospice care, as well as heart, cancer, digestive health, orthopedics, women's health, urgent care and emergency services.
