Job description

At Lightspeed Systems, we protect students and empower schools. We give district leaders the visibility and control they need to keep learning safe, secure, and effective-and we need a Senior Marketing Campaign Director who can turn bold ideas into measurable pipeline.

This is not a "set it and forget it" marketing role. You'll own high-impact, multichannel campaigns that grab attention, get responses, and drive results you can see in the MQL count and the sales forecast.

You'll be part strategist, part creative, part project quarterback, part tactical executioner-and 100% focused on moving the needle.

NOTE: This position requires several days onsite each week at our Austin, Texas headquarters. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Build and run multichannel campaigns that break through the noise-email, ads, social, webinars, nurture sequences, and more.
  • Keep prospects engaged with always-on nurture programs and jump on opportunities with timely offers and communications that hit while the iron's hot.
  • Create standout webinars: Concept, promote, and orchestrate virtual events people actually want to attend-and that keep Lightspeed top of mind long after the session ends.
  • Lead BDRs to follow up on warm leads and identify new prospects with smart, meaningful outbound
  • Collaborate to win: Partner with product marketing to nail campaign messaging and positioning. Partner with sales to create campaigns that drive results.
  • Write with impact: Craft campaign copy and email sequences that get opened, clicked, and acted on-balancing substance with style.
  • Leverage AI for results: Use AI tools to surface insights, spot opportunities, and refine campaigns for maximum performance.
  • Execute flawlessly: Manage multiple campaigns at once, ensuring they launch on time, meet quality standards, and deliver measurable KPIs.
  • Test, learn, repeat: Stay on top of performance data and emerging trends. Double down on what works, kill what doesn't, and share learnings with the team.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience in demand generation or campaign management
  • Proven ability to plan and execute campaigns that deliver results across the full funnel.
  • Experience creating nurture streams that keep prospects engaged until they're ready to buy.
  • Strong collaboration skills-you can align marketing, sales, and product teams around a shared goal.
  • Deep understanding of the buyer's journey and how to influence it.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with a knack for cutting through the noise-particularly when it comes to email marketing.
  • Track record of building webinars that generate real engagement.
  • Comfort using AI to enhance campaign strategy and execution.
  • Data-driven mindset-you measure everything and love proving ROI.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-focused environment.

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms-Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) experience is a big plus.
  • B2B marketing experience, especially in SaaS and/or K-12.
  • 5+ years in demand generation or campaign management.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE

  • Your work will directly help protect more students and support schools nationwide.
  • You'll have the freedom to test, learn, and bring bold ideas to life.
  • You'll join a smart, driven, mission-focused team that actually cares about the impact we make.
