Logistics Trainer
Hours: Monday - Friday, On-Site
Pay: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, plus a discretionary/performance bonus

Logistics Trainer Position Overview
As a Logistics Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and conducting training programs for adult leaners entering or upskilling in the logistics industry. This role blends technical expertise with hands-on instruction. You will design training materials, facilitate training sessions, and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives to ensure the continuous improvement of employees' skills and knowledge in logistics operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Conduct training sessions for employees in the logistics department
- Assess training needs and coordinate training schedules
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
- Provide feedback and coaching to employees to enhance their logistics skills
- Collaborate with management to identify training opportunities and areas for improvement
Curriculum Development
- Develop training programs and materials for various aspects of logistics operations
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop user guides, SOPs, and workflow diagrams
- Maintain learning content and job aids on SharePoint and internal platforms
Stakeholder Collaboration & Program Improvement
- Partner with internal teams and employer clients to identify emerging training needs
- Support quality assurance of training outcomes and adapt delivery accordingly
- Track and report on trainee progress, certification, and employment outcomes
Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
- 3 -5 years proven experience working in logistics or supply chain management
- Strong understanding of logistics processes and best practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to design training materials and programs
- Experience in assessing training needs and evaluating training outcomes
- Certification or training in adult learning principles is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
