Job description


Position Summary: Responsible for all aspects of project management from beginning to end under minimal supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform material take-offs
  • Produce add order quotations
  • Create and manage quote files
  • Screen phone calls during peak bid days and bid times
  • Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data
  • Perform order entry, problem resolution, material management, and project close out as needed
  • Maintain and label project files
  • Follow up with tracking information to the commercial offices and customers (includes Gear and RGAโ€™s)
  • Travel to factories as needed for product training
  • Purge project files twice a year
  • Prepare cut sheet submittals
  • Assist in Auto Cad layouts as needed
  • Label and maintain project drawings
  • Maintain knowledge of currently represented products
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Essential Skills:

  • Prior lighting project management experience or equivalent preferred
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Must have excellent math skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and internet research
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Auto Cad experience preferred
  • Proficient in Blue Beam and/or Adobe
