Production Technician II

We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications. 

Our Facility in Carson, CA is our Engineered Products Group location, which houses our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, Radiofrequency Departments.

Job Summary

  • Perform electrical, mechanical, and lighting assembly and testing using standard and specialized test and measurement equipment in a manufacturing production environment. 
  • Perform work to standard work instructions and operating procedures. 
  • Work from blueprints and other specifications, using hand tools and test equipment
  • Test faulty equipment and inspects mechanical and electrical units
  • Controls diagnose malfunctions of units
  • Repairs or replaces defective units and adjust equipment or machines
  • Wire prep, abrading, Etch, prime, pre coat wires and connectors
  • Able to work with working parts or components which require special care in handling or other procedures which require good dexterity and facility in use of a variety of hand tools
  • May make minor procedural decisions in soldering, fitting, etc., but always within established guidelines
  • Must be able to interpret instructions to mix various epoxies and paints for marking bonding
  • Perform all appropriate and required documentation for technical assembly and test processes with calibrated tools and equipment. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Be able to verify quality of work, regarding, quality, assembly, solder, and lighting. Perform other assignments as required.
  • Performs other duties as required 

Work Environment and Safety

  • Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area
  • Mandatory safety glasses in production locations
