Job description

Clean Tech is looking for Equipment Operators at our recycling facility in Dundee, MI. This is a Direct Hire position that offers paid certification and opportunities for advancement.

**Shift:

7am-7:30pm (3-2-2-3 schedule; 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3off)

**What you’ll be doing:

  • Load, unload and move materials to and from production lines, hold and transport areas

  • Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products

  • Inspect and count materials, documenting key information

  • Shovel loose materials into containers for inspection

  • Be in a harness to load a rail car or bulk truck approximately 30’ in the air.

**What’s Required to be a Forklift Operator?

**

  • Minimum of six (6) months forklift operation experience

  • Climbing on and off forklift continuously throughout shift

  • Able to work at heights up to 20 feet using proper PPE.

  • Ability to withstand temperature extremes (in excess of 85 degrees & less than 32 degrees) throughout the entire workday

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • Material Handler Experience
  • Heavy Material Handling
  • Forklift Licensed
