Job description

Job Title: Packer

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Loader/Packer to join our team on the 3rd shift. This role involves monitoring automatic and semi-automatic packaging equipment, conducting visual quality inspections, and ensuring the cleanliness and preparation of trailers. You will be responsible for loading products into trailers or storage areas, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing film roll/bag changes, and working with light products, which require no heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor automatic and semi-automatic packaging equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Conduct visual quality inspections for packaging durability and product acceptability.
  • Clean and prepare trailers for loading.
  • Load products into trailers or storage areas.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform film roll and bag changes as needed.
  • Handle bottles coming down the line, place them into boxes, and then onto an automatic palletizer.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings.
  • Experience in general labor, production, picking, and packing.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation, loading, RF scanners, material handling, assembly, order picking, pallet jack usage, and inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in stocking or loading is preferred.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and learn new processes.
