Description

The Multi-Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple warehouse facilities to ensure efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, safe work practices, and exceptional customer service. This role provides leadership to warehouse managers and teams while driving operational excellence, productivity, cost control, and continuous process improvement across all locations.

RequirementsOperations Management
  • Oversee the daily operations of multiple warehouse locations.
  • Ensure all warehouses operate efficiently while meeting productivity and service level goals.
  • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures across all facilities.
  • Monitor warehouse performance through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
Leadership
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Manager to recruit for all needed positions.
  • Train, coach, and develop warehouse managers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead regular operations meetings and communicate company goals and expectations.
  • Work closely with the HR Department to resolve employee concerns and performance issues promptly.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper product handling and storage procedures.
  • Minimize inventory shrinkage, damages, and product loss.
Safety & Compliance
  • Promote and enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Conduct regular warehouse safety inspections and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Maintain warehouse security procedures.
  • Complete required OSHA annual reporting
Financial Management
  • Develop and manage warehouse operating budgets.
  • Monitor labor costs, overtime, and operating expenses.
  • Recommend cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to warehouse operations.
Customer Service
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Retail Operations, Purchasing, and Customer Service to resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction through operational excellence.
Process Improvement
  • Analyze operational data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives when appropriate.
  • Optimize warehouse layouts, workflows, and labor utilization.
  • Lead projects related to warehouse expansion, relocation, or technology implementation.

Supervisory Responsibility

All Warehouse Managers.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk warehouse floors for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and climb as needed.
Work Environment
  • Combination of office and warehouse environments.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures within warehouse facilities.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work as business needs require.
Travel

Extensive travel within multiple Texas locations in all major cities/regions.
