What is a Lifetime Recovery?

A Lifetime Recovery job typically involves working in addiction recovery services, helping individuals overcome substance abuse and rebuild their lives. The job requires empathy, strong communication skills, and a commitment to supporting long-term recovery.

What are some of the main challenges faced by professionals working in Lifetime Recovery roles?

Professionals in Lifetime Recovery positions often encounter challenges such as supporting clients through relapses, maintaining engagement over extended periods, and adapting treatment plans to meet changing needs. The work can also involve navigating complex family dynamics and co-occurring mental health issues. However, these challenges are balanced by strong team collaboration, ongoing supervision, and opportunities for continuing education and career advancement. Many find the most rewarding aspect is witnessing clients achieve lasting progress and improved quality of life through their dedication and support.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Lifetime Recovery position, and why are they important?

To excel in a Lifetime Recovery role, candidates typically need knowledge of addiction counseling, case management, and relapse prevention, often supported by certifications such as CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) or a related degree in behavioral health. Familiarity with clinical documentation systems, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment modalities is highly valuable. Outstanding interpersonal skills, patience, and cultural sensitivity help professionals build trust and guide clients through long-term recovery. These qualifications are essential to effectively support individuals throughout their recovery journey and ensure lasting positive outcomes.

Job description

About Star Sleep & Wellness

At Star Sleep & Wellness, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with sleep disorders. We go beyond traditional medical practices by building lasting relationships with our patients and offering personalized, lifetime care. As a forward-thinking team, we’re constantly at the forefront of innovations in dental sleep medicine. Learn more about our team and our mission at www.StarSleepWellness.com.

About the Position

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven individual to join our Recovery Team responsible for recovering patients who have not moved forward with treatment, ensuring those who have canceled or no-showed their appointments are re-scheduled, and helping patients understand the importance of continuing or starting their treatment. Our Recovery Team also oversees the tracking and reporting of results to ensure the team's success and alignment with the company's goals.

You will gain valuable experience navigating complex conversations and finding solutions that help patients to move forward with life-saving care. The ideal candidate would possess organizational skills and have an affinity for providing excellent customer service. We value a candidate with knowledge in the sleep medicine field and an understanding of PAP therapy; however, this is not a requirement. It is essential that the individual selected aligns with our mission and values. We are happy to train individuals who are dedicated to serving our patients!

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively contact and support patients who are non-compliant with PAP therapy and Oral Appliances.

• Engage and monitor progress for severe Oral Appliance patients to ensure treatment efficacy.

• Cultivate long-term patient rapport while managing complex scheduling requirements.

• Utilize AdvancedMD software for patient correspondence and scheduling needs.

About You

Regardless of position in the organization, these are the core values we look for:

  • Value Reputation: Our name is everything! Every small action matters, so we expect you to be mindful of the big picture in everything you say or do. You’ll be an ambassador for the practice’s reputation.
  • Adaptable to Change: We’re always evolving and forward-thinking. You approach challenges with a positive attitude, are open to learning, and are willing to break old habits to improve.
  • Driven and Goal-Oriented: You are motivated by purpose, remain focused on personal and team goals, and thrive on achieving success, both individually and collectively.
  • Do Whatever It Takes: You go the extra mile to support your team and make it happen for our patients. We value collaboration and the willingness to “do whatever it takes.”
  • Do What You Say You understand that trust is built on consistency. You honor your commitments and always follow through, even when it’s challenging.

Does This Sound Like You?

Please apply! We would love to hear from you.

Additional Information

Candidates selected to move forward in the hiring process will be asked to complete a Berke Assessment. You are welcome to complete it in advance:
