Primary Function:  To deliver Nymeo's value proposition and brand promise within our market by nurturing and cultivating meaningful relationships with key community organizations. Establish relationships with businesses in the community to promote Nymeo's products and services, offer financial wellness opportunities and encourage credit union memberships to their employees.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with community partners to support the Credit Unions strategy.
  • Be a Brand Champion by representing Nymeo in the community via multiple communication channels (online, email, telephone, virtual meetings, in person).
  • Develop and execute sales plans and community relations strategy to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a database of community groups and local businesses. Serve as a liaison to existing business and community organizations.
  • Identify local businesses to position Nymeo as a valuable employee benefit and community partner.
  • Plan and execute on-site visits, trade shows, seminars/workshops, benefits fairs, meetings, and events in order to increase awareness, educate, build membership, and promote the Credit Union.

Job Qualifications: (Skills/Abilities)

  • Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to comprehend complex functions and procedures and to be able to disseminate that knowledge in a clear and concise format to others.
  • Ability to express oneself, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain confidential records and reports.
  • Ability to gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts and develop solutions.
  • Ability to assess the needs of multiple members and prioritize requests to ensure that all members receive the highest quality service possible. Ability to manage daily routine with moderate freedom to interpret and act upon various situations.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to present a professional and personable personality that communicates to members, prospects, and community partners that the Credit Union is a professional financial institution, dedicated to promoting their financial well-being and becoming a lifetime financial partner.
  • Ability to work within precise standardized guidelines, make sound decisions and take initiative to resolve problems or unique circumstances. Trust and diplomacy, in addition to normal courtesy and tact, is required.

Job Qualifications: (Education/Experience)

  • Two to five years' experience in sales, business development or community relations is required.
  • Rooted connections to the communities we serve is preferred, especially Carroll and Howard County, Maryland.
  • A minimum two-year college degree is required.
  • Requires a valid driver's license in employee's state of permanent residence. (Local travel is required.)
  • Possess excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
