Lifeguard – Summer 2026 | Aquatech Management

Join Aquatech Management for an exciting opportunity as a Lifeguard this pool season!

Are you tired of driving 30 minutes or more to get to your pool? Due to the number of facilities we manage on Long Island, our lifeguards travel an average of 13-17 minutes to get to work.


We are currently hiring for the following locations:

Suffolk County, NY

Pool Season: May 23 – September 7
(Indoor facilities are available for those balancing work and school commitments after the season ends)

We are looking for lifeguards with or without prior experience. Flexibility is important to accommodate school schedules and summer plans. Strong aquatic skills and reliable transportation are required.

Bonus Opportunities:

  • $500 college scholarship available for qualifying guards
  • End-of-season bonuses for those who work through Labor Day

Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the pool daily according to the schedule
  • Monitor pool activities to ensure safety at all times
  • Maintain proper pool chemical levels
  • Respond appropriately during emergencies and adverse weather conditions
  • Keep the pool and surrounding areas clean and safe
  • Assist patrons as needed
  • Strong aquatic skills
  • Ability to perform Aquatics tasks efficiently
  • Swimming proficiency

Qualifications:

  • Valid American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or equivalent
  • Current CPR/First Aid for the Professional Rescuer (completed within the past year)
  • Flexible availability (weekdays, weekends, and holidays)
  • Reliable transportation
