Job description

Lifeguard - 2026 Summer - Premium Pay - Missouri Athletic Club - West County

Join an amazing team of individuals at the Missouri Athletic Club in West County, one of the top private clubs in the United States. The MAC has been thriving since 1903 and remains committed to the vision of the original founders: "to be the premier athletic, social and dining club for business, professional and civic leaders and their families in the Saint Louis area." We are seeking seasonal Lifeguards for the summer of 2026.

Lifeguard Responsibilities:

  • Enforce all pool policies, rules and regulations.
  • Recognize and respond quickly and effectively in emergencies complying with all safety and emergency procedures.
  • Inspect the facility on a daily schedule and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean pool area.
  • Retrieve foreign materials from pool.
  • Clean and keep pool and pool deck organized.
  • Complete records and reports within required timeframes including but not limited to accident reports, daily inspection reports, etc.
  • Learn, adhere to and enforce all MAC policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit a professional image, behavior, appearance, and demeanor at all times.
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor.

Lifeguard Qualifications:

  • Must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age due to the nature of the safety responsibilities.
