Job description

**This position is based in Atlanta and is hybrid, reporting into the office two days a week.
Manager, Brand & Lifecycle Marketing drives the execution of brand media strategies and cross-channel customer reengagement programs for Autotrader and KBB. This role bridges brand-building activities (awareness through traditional and digital brand media) with sophisticated lifecycle reengagement efforts across email, digital retargeting, push and SMS, and other touchpoints-ensuring we effectively bring customers back and maximize their lifetime value.
This role requires both strategic media expertise and a deep understanding of customer behavior and reengagement tactics. The ideal candidate can think holistically about how to reengage customers through coordinated campaigns across all available channels.
What You'll Do
Brand Media & Lifecycle Planning & Execution
  • Along with Sr. Manager, Brand Media execute multi-channel brand media strategies
  • Partner with brand media agencies on media planning & buying
  • Manage brand media budgets, pacing, and performance tracking
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize media mix for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure brand media strategies build audiences that can be leveraged for downstream reengagement
  • Coordinate with creative team to ensure brand assets are optimized for each media channel
  • Develop customer segmentation and targeting strategies for reengagement campaigns based on behavior, inactivity periods, and engagement history
  • Create coordinated reengagement campaigns across email marketing, digital retargeting, paid social and other channels
  • Design testing strategies to optimize media and reengagement messaging, timing, frequency, and channel mix
  • Analyze customer behavior patterns to identify early signals of disengagement and create preventative reengagement strategies across all channels
  • Monitor brand media and reengagement campaign performance against KPIs

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with creative team on asset development for brand media and reengagement campaigns
  • Collaborate with MarTech team on marketing automation, personalization, and customer journey implementation
  • Work with analytics team to understand customer behavior, churn signals, and reengagement opportunities
  • Coordinate with performance media team to align audience strategies and retargeting approaches

Who You Are
Minimum:
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 6 years of marketing experience spanning brand media planning and customer lifecycle/reengagement marketing. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • CRM experience across email, SMS, Push
  • Proven experience executing brand media campaigns across traditional and digital channels
  • Strong background in lifecycle marketing, customer retention, or reengagement campaigns
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and multi-channel campaign orchestration
  • Background working with agencies and cross-functional teams
  • Brand Media Planning: Strong understanding of media planning fundamentals, optimization, audience targeting
  • Reengagement & Lifecycle Expertise: Deep knowledge of customer lifecycle stages, churn signals, reengagement tactics, win-back strategies
  • Multi-Channel Orchestration: Ability to design and execute coordinated campaigns across email, digital retargeting, social, push, and SMS
  • Strong written and verbal communication

USD 101,500.00 - 169,100.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $101,500.00 - $169,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
