• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients' challenges.

• Engage in individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques that cater to diverse client needs.
• Establish and track therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients to evaluate their progress and adapt the treatment plan as necessary.
• Provide virtual therapy sessions through a secure teletherapy platform, ensuring accessibility for all clients.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions, adhering to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

As a therapist at Life Works Counseling P.C, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. • Must possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a nonjudgmental approach towards clients' experiences and challenges.
• Effective organizational and time management abilities to handle varying case loads and administrative tasks efficiently.

• Experience in substance abuse counseling or trauma-informed care is a plus.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Prior experience in private practice settings is beneficial, but not required.
