VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced veterinary pharmacy technician to support our growing hospital team!
This customer-focused position utilizes your skills and knowledge to effectively manage medication operations in a veterinary setting to ensure efficiency, accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols.

As a well-established 24 hour/ 7 day a week General, Specialty and Emergency Hospital, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality and most comprehensive care to our patients in an environment that supports our doctors and staff.
The skills and attributes essential for this role are:
Organization and Detail: Keeping things in order, meticulous handling of tasks, prescriptions, and records.
Multitasking: Handling various responsibilities concurrently, from managing emails to inventory control.
Digital Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools for prescription processing and documentation.
Communication Skills: Strong communication, both written and verbal, for team collaboration and client interaction.
Protocol Adherence: Following established procedures for medication management and operations.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changes, work effectively in a team, and manage shifts seamlessly.
Customer Focus: Ensuring client satisfaction by keeping them updated on prescription statuses.
Reliability: Taking ownership of tasks, adhering to schedules, and reporting absences responsibly.
Safety Awareness: Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following safety protocols for medication handling.
Schedule: Full time, weekend rotation required
Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 / hr is based on skill set, experience, and licensure status
