The work environment at Life Mission Nursing and Rehab is characterized by collaboration and innovation. Working onsite within our hospital facility, you will engage directly with patients in various rehabilitation stages, primarily within the outpatient orthopedic specialty. • Hands-On Care: Collaborate with physical therapists to administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques aimed at increasing patient strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Progress Monitoring: Track patient progress meticulously—adjusting treatment plans and exercises as necessary to ensure each patient achieves their recovery goals effectively.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on the purpose and benefits of their prescribed treatment regimens, empowering them to take charge of their recovery both during visits and at home.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience and integrated approach to rehabilitation care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments, patient responses, and progress updates to assist in ongoing care and treatment evaluations.

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your efforts will be instrumental in shaping the rehabilitation journey of each patient, ensuring they receive unbiased support and encouragement throughout their recovery process. Understanding the needs of our patient demographics is crucial, as it informs your approach to treatment and facilitates a personalized rehabilitation experience.

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• A valid PTA license in California (or qualifications to obtain licensure upon hiring).
• A strong commitment to patient care and a genuine desire to help others on their path to recovery.
• Excellent communication abilities to interact with patients, families, and team members effectively.
• A solid attention to detail—ensuring treatment plans are executed faithfully to maximize patient outcomes.

• Minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant, specifically within orthopedic or outpatient settings.
• Advanced certifications or specialties in areas such as sports rehabilitation or manual therapy are highly regarded.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
