Flood Insurance Guru is seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. This role entails understanding business needs and translating them into effective strategy and digital technology solutions. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and possesses a deep understanding of business processes and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing business needs and requirements, identifying solution enhancements, and implementing effective solutions collaboratively.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to define project scope, goals and deliverables, and aligning with cross-functional team expectations.
  • Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality.
  • Promoting best practice throughout the organization; designing new IT workflows and creating process documentation.
  • Assessing the risks of various solutions and prioritizing competing business demands to advise management on the outcomes.
  • Resolving complex requirements issues through tactful negotiation and discussion.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis or a related field.
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
  • Solid experience in writing SQL queries.
  • Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following areas: Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Q/A, Business Analysis, and Database Management.
