Jacksonville, FL • On-site

Job description

Lickety Split Air, Plumbing & Electric is one of Northeast Florida's fastest-growing home services companies, serving homeowners across the Jacksonville and St. Augustine market. We move fast, we do it right, and we take care of our people the same way we take care of our customers. When you join Lickety Split, you join a crew that backs you with the trucks, tools, and training to do your best work — and the pay structure to reward it.

We're looking for an experienced HVAC Project Technician to lead residential system installations and changeouts from start to finish. This is an install-focused role — if you take pride in clean, code-correct, commission-ready work and want to own the project from rough-in to final walkthrough, this is your seat.

  • Install complete HVAC systems — split systems, package units, mini-splits, and ductwork — in existing homes and new construction
  • Perform full equipment changeouts to manufacturer specs and local code
  • Braze and solder refrigerant lines, pull vacuums, weigh in charge, and commission systems for proper operation
  • Set air handlers, condensers, furnaces, and accessories; fabricate and connect ductwork and plenums
  • Read and work from load calcs, install drawings, and permit/inspection requirements
  • Test for proper airflow, refrigerant charge, and electrical operation before completing the job
  • Communicate clearly with the customer at start and finish, leaving every home cleaner than you found it
  • Coordinate with the install coordinator and dispatch to keep projects on schedule
  • Mentor helpers and apprentices on jobsite best practices and safety
What You Bring
  • EPA 608 Certification required
  • 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience
  • Strong working knowledge of residential HVAC equipment, ductwork, refrigerant handling, and electrical
  • Ability to braze/solder and properly evacuate and charge systems
  • Valid Florida driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • A professional, customer-first attitude and pride in quality work

Lickety Split is an Equal Opportunity Employer
