Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Eureka, KS. This position will involve working night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM on a rotating block schedule of 36/48 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Assist in various medical procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Kansas.
  • IV certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Facility Information:

This position is within a skilled nursing facility with a typical census of 45 residents. The facility usually has one nurse present in the building during the night shift.
