Overview
Coordinates and executes all transportation needs for residents to include medical appointments, facility outings etc. Assists all departments with transportation needs of residents and/or potential prospects. Responsible for vehicle maintenance and general up keep. Responsible for helping transportation coordinator get vehicles in for maintenance and service calls.
What you will do

  • Demonstrates positive customer service behaviors consistently. Strives to meet/exceed the needs of the facility's customers/residents by demonstrating flexibility and sense of urgency to create a service excellence experience.
  • Responsible for assuring safe practices in accordance with RHS policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for notifying Transportation Coordinator or Director of Resident Services when required vehicle maintenance is needed.
  • Demonstrates the ability to plan transportation routes to decrease vehicle mileage and gas consumption.
  • Completes paper work to ensure that all records are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Responsible for maintaining transportation and maintenance logs for facility vehicles as well as logging residents participation on facility outings.
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and accomplish assignments with accuracy and timeliness (meeting work schedules, work assignments and completed by deadlines, received minimal customer complaints).
  • Maintains positive interactions with fellow team members, residents and visitors. Assists customers with billing inquiries, questions or concerns. Provides follow up in a timely manner.

Experience

  • 2 years Experience driving commercial vehicles (Preferred)
