Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Mental Health Technician in our Behavioral Health Unit working in the pediatric unit at Wolfson Children's Hospital Jacksonville Fl, (Downtown) This is a Full Time Nights opportunity 7:00pm-7:00am.

As a Mental Health Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Provides care to patients in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.Documents observations on assigned patients.
  • Communicates appropriate information regarding patient's condition. Assists with patient education groups, total milieu supervision, assists with admissions/discharges as assigned.
  • *CPI Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
