We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic candidates who are experienced in delivering stellar face-to-face customer service with a positive, can-do attitude for a fast-paced public contact position. The duties of the position include: cashiering, data entry, the ability to provide verbal, written, and technical assistance pertaining to the licensing of drivers, issuance of identification cards, vehicle registration, and occupational licenses, in a courteous and efficient manner. Dependability and punctuality are essential.
This Limited Term position may be extended to 24 months and may become Permanent.
Bilingual skills preferred, but not required.

The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Salaries are nonnegotiable and are subject to the California Department of Human Resources salary rules. Salaries for part-time and/or intermittent appointments may vary. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

Working Conditions
Saturday and/or extended office hours may be required.
Position may require travel within the DMV Region V hub to provide relief. Traveling to offices at a moment's notice using private transportation may be required. Occasional long-term assignments may require a stay of a week or two at a location which may be far away from your home. Lodging, mileage, tolls, and parking fees will be reimbursed using the Travel Expense Claim process.
