Job description

Do you have enjoy working with the community? The Library Manager is the primary liaison between The Library and the community it serves. This position supports two locations providing staff direction to ensure as exceptional user experience, while promoting and interpreting programs, activities, and policies. In this leadership position, you will provide mentorship and motivation to staff and volunteers.
The Library Manager position is instrumental in developing community partnerships.
Educational Requirements/Qualifications:
Education: MLS degree recognized by The Office of Commonwealth Libraries/PA Department of Education program preferred or 2-4 years of equivalent experience required
Experience: Two years' supervisory experience required. Technology experience required.
Required Skills: Ability to provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
Requires independent transportation for travel to libraries, programs, and outreach locations; must be able to lift 25 lbs.
SCHEDULE: Full-time, 37.5 hour/week position. Monday-Friday. 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekends as required. The schedule has a degree of flexibility but is subject to change to meet the needs of The Library.
