Growth Operations and Proposal LeadThis is an on-site position located in Huntsville, AL. About Strata-G SolutionsStrata-G Solutions, LLC is seeking a Growth Operations and Proposal Lead to join our growing team in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a key position within our Growth organization that will lead proposal development while helping improve internal processes, support business development initiatives, and strengthen customer relationships.The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This individual will work closely with Business Development, Capture, Pricing, Program Management, and Executive Leadership to ensure winning proposals are delivered on time while continuously improving the company's growth operations.Position SummaryThe Growth Operations and Proposal Lead is responsible for leading the development of federal and commercial proposals from opportunity identification through proposal submission. In addition to proposal management, this position will play a critical role in improving business processes, supporting strategic growth initiatives, maintaining customer engagement, and helping position Strata-G for long-term success.Key ResponsibilitiesLead proposal development from RFI/RFP release through final submission while ensuring full compliance with solicitation requirements.Manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.Develop proposal schedules, compliance matrices, outlines, color team reviews, and submission plans.Coordinate proposal activities between Capture Managers, Business Development, Pricing, Technical SMEs, Contracts, and subcontractor partners.Interpret and analyze Federal Government solicitations including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, ROMs, and other procurement documents.Facilitate proposal kickoff meetings, daily stand-ups, and color team reviews.Write, edit, and format proposal content including executive summaries, management plans, staffing approaches, and past performance narratives.Ensure all proposal deliverables are compliant, compelling, and submitted on schedule.Maintain proposal libraries, templates, resumes, past performance databases, and other proposal artifacts.Register and maintain company profiles across government procurement portals and industry databases.Track proposal status, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies throughout the proposal lifecycle.Support business development efforts by assisting with customer presentations, capability statements, market research, and opportunity tracking.Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, teammates, and industry partners.Evaluate and improve proposal, capture, and business development processes to increase efficiency and win probability.Assist leadership with special projects and strategic growth initiatives as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, Marketing, or related field.5-10 years of experience managing federal government proposals, preferably supporting DoD customers.Strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, and the federal procurement lifecycle.Experience leading proposal teams in a fast-paced government contracting environment.Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Ability to prioritize multiple competing deadlines with minimal supervision.Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a small business government contractor.Familiarity with Shipley proposal methodologies.Experience supporting both prime and subcontract opportunities.Experience with classified proposals and secure proposal environments.Knowledge of GovWin, SAM.gov, PIEE, and other government acquisition portals.Experience supporting business development, capture management, or customer engagement activities.Demonstrated success improving business processes and implementing operational efficiencies.What We're Looking ForProcess-oriented and always looking for ways to improve efficiency.Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.Collaborative and comfortable working across departments.Strategic enough to think beyond proposals and contribute to the company's overall growth objectives.A self-starter who takes ownership and thrives in a dynamic small business environment.
