ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Library Operations & System Management
- Operates the library automation system to manage circulation of books and materials.
- Catalogs new materials, deletes outdated or lost items, and updates patron information as needed.
- Utilizes computers and library technology for daily tasks and resource management.
- Assists in the annual inventory of the collection, including mending, shelving, and filing materials.
Student & Staff Support
- Develops a climate encouraging teachers and students to make optimal use of the library media center.
- Assist students in locating research and reading materials while teaching library skills.
- Instructs students and staff in the use of library technology, online catalogs, and the Internet.
