Job description

Library Assistant

Assist with a variety of tasks including stack maintenance, shelving of books, help process library materials, work with items for archives, assist with bulletin boards, media visual displays and other special projects or library tasks as needed.

Hours will be arranged with the supervisor but typically 1.5 hours four days a week or 2 hrs. three times a week.

This position is open only to active, currently enrolled Westminster College students.

Requirements: Excellent communication and organizational skills; attention to detail; basic computer skills including Excel; ability to physically maneuver stairs, reach top book shelves, push a book cart and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. are needed.
