Position Overview
We are seeking a Solar Sales Manager to lead and scale our residential sales division. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales performance, optimizing systems (including CRM and reporting), and developing a high-performing sales team.
You’ll play a key leadership role in shaping sales strategy, improving processes, and ensuring alignment between sales, operations, and customer experience.


Key Responsibilities


Sales Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead, coach, and develop the residential sales team
  • Build and implement scalable sales processes and programs
  • Establish performance metrics and hold team accountable to goals
  • Collaborate with leadership to align sales strategies with company objectives
CRM & Pipeline Management (HubSpot)
  • Oversee pipeline accuracy, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensure all sales activities, contacts, and deals are properly tracked
  • Monitor key metrics such as close rates, lead sources, and activity levels
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to track team performance
Inside Sales & Marketing Oversight
  • Ensure consistent lead follow-up and appointment setting
  • Provide guidance and direction into Marketing efforts
  • Monitor activity levels and conversion rates
  • Implement campaigns to re-engage inactive or lost leads
Program Development
  • Design and implement sales structure, compensation plans, and pricing strategies
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive sales resource library

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of sales management experience (solar or home services preferred)
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing teams
