Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Create or update schematic and PCB library symbols using Siemens Xpedition Library Manager.
• Manage the necessary part parametric data in Siemens Xpedition EDM database and Siemens TeamCenter PLM.
• Modify component symbols via engineering requests or ECO changes.
• Assist engineering in process flow development or improvements.
A day in the life
As an ECAD Librarian, you will participate in the definition and creation of component electrical symbols and 3D mechanical models. You will contribute in all phases of the product development process including activities that involve maintenance of the component libraries. You will juggle priorities without losing sight of the customer and project schedules. You must bring a combination of industry knowledge, strong cross team functional experience, and demonstrable process experience to this position.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of technical support experience
- 1+ years of experience with Siemens TeamCenter PLM or similar PLM.
- 1+ years of current experience using Siemens Xpedition EDM or other eCAD library database.
- 2+ years of current experience using Siemens Xpedition Library Manager or similar tool chains.
- Experience with component package types and package interchange-ability and tradeoffs.
- Experience reading mechanical and package dimensional drawings or electrical component datasheets.
- Experience creating and maintaining schematic, PCB, and CAD libraries.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience with Siemens TeamCenter PLM or similar PLM.
- 3+ years of current experience using Siemens Xpedition EDM or other eCAD library database.
- 3+ years of current experience using Siemens Xpedition Library Manager or similar tool chains.
- Knowledgeable about relevant IPC, JEDEC, and EIA industry standards.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). • Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with cross-functional groups.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
