Job description

The Technology Manager is responsible for accomplishing the Euclid Public Library's mission by developing, implementing and coordinating the libraryโ€™s electronic environment and supervising the Technology staff. Position duties include: overseeing the maintenance and operation of the libraryโ€™s technology and computer equipment and related software applications; developing and administering department budget; acting as the libraryโ€™s technology liaison with CLEVNET; maintaining the libraryโ€™s cybersecurity program; and acting as a member of the libraryโ€™s management team.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent related degree, or a combination of education, training and related work experience. A minimum of three (3) yearsโ€™ experience in libraries with progressive levels of responsibility. A record of success in supervising and directing the work of others. Experience working in the public sector preferred. Must be able to pass a background check for the Euclid Public Library and the State of Ohio Computer Center.

Work hours: 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday - 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.

Starting Salary Rate: $82,374.66
