Organizational Unit: Library Services Satellite Beach Library

Position Type:Permanent Full Time/Part Time:Full Time

Open Until Filled.

$2,022.03 biweekly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Beachside/Satellite Beach Public Library. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings and weekends. Performs skilled professional work primarily in the Youth Services section of the library. The work involves supervision of a staff of professional, paraprofessional, and clerical employees and volunteers.

REQUIREMENTS: A Master's degree from a graduate library school program. Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) is perferred. Public Library and supervisory experience are preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: When usage statistics change, library employees may be assigned to another library. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
