This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking an individual to provide respite for a preschool-age child in the Boyceville, WI area. This girl loves the playground, story time at the library, the waterpark (1:1 assistance), the farmers market, and learning new things! Respite care will be conducted in the child's home. Community outings are also encouraged.
 
Pay:
$14.13 per hour
 
Schedule:
12 hours per month.
Flexible scheduling
Shifts can vary - mornings, afternoons, and weekends
Schedule to be determined between provider and managing party
  
Tasks:
Supervision and safety
Active attentiveness
Toileting (pull-ups/potty training)
Meal Prep (snack time)
Activities of daily living assistance
Build confidence and independence
Companionship and social engagement
Provide transportation to/from activities
 
Qualifications:
Authorized to work in the U.S
Criminal/Caregiver background check
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required
Knowledgeable in outpatient therapy and speech therapy
Someone who is knowledgeable in Down Syndrome or Developmental Disabilities
