A Library Paraprofessional is needed .5 at Toffolon School and .5 at the Middle School of Plainville. High School Diploma Required. Experience working with children and/or experience in a library is preferred. Duties include circulation management, shelving books, working with students to find resources, and assisting the library media specialist with classes and other clerical tasks. Candidate should be comfortable with technology such as the online card catalog, online databases, and google apps. Must be reliable, flexible and have a positive attitude. This is a school year position with a working schedule from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. with a half hour unpaid lunch. Hourly rate of pay can be found in the bargaining contract located at www.plainvilleschools.org.
