JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for year-round children’s library programs and activities relating to them. Under general guidance assesses, selects, processes, and catalogs library materials suitable for children. Provides reference services to children and teachers. Also responsible for checking in and out materials in the Children’s Library when on duty. Will have heavy public contact working with children and their parents. Handles technical work involving the circulation desk in the Children’s area.
