ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Marketing Associate is the execution engine of the Strategy, Marketing & Communications department — the person who turns approved strategy into published content, live campaigns, on‑time events, and clean data, every day. This is a hands‑on, high‑throughput role across content and web, digital assets and CRM, event production, reporting, and day‑to‑day marketing operations, with room to grow toward channel ownership or a future marketing‑manager track as the department scales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content, Copy & Web
  • Draft and edit marketing copy; manage the editorial/blog calendar and website content management system (CMS)
  • Create designs for ads, website, socials, and other channels using Canva and other tools
  • Own routine SEO content updates and monthly SEO/content-gap review, escalating recommendations to the Senior Manager
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and create content based upon analyses
  • QA all published content for brand and spec compliance before it goes liveb
Digital Assets & Inventory
  • Maintain digital asset library hygiene and naming conventions for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage physical marketing inventory (promotional items, event stock)
CRM & Email
  • Maintain CRM contact records (HubSpot/Salesforce) and resolve duplicates; support lead entry after events
  • Maintain CRM list segmentation and data cleanliness
  • Draft, edit and manage email campaigns and monitor and report on engagement
Social Media & Community
  • Draft and edit social media copy
  • Own the day‑to‑day social content calendar and standard post scheduling
  • Monitor and respond to social engagement within SLA; elevate negative sentiment or high‑visibility items to the Senior Manager
Events & Production
  • Coordinate event and trade‑show logistics, vendor confirmations, and on‑site checklists
  • Plan photo/video shoots and manage 60‑day‑out production planning for upcoming events
Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Pull weekly performance data and prepare the monthly cross‑channel performance summary for the Senior Manager
  • Maintain the budget and spend tracker; process invoices, POs, and reconciliations
Operations & Admin
  • Triage marketing request inbox and daily task list; Identify bottlenecks and elevate items at risk
  • Maintain the master marketing calendar (2‑week rolling visibility) and keep SOPs current
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support strategy, marketing, and communications activities
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Working knowledge of a CRM/marketing automation platform (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and a CMS (Wordpress or similar)
  • Ability to research in market data tools such as Mintel, Euromonitor, Nielsen
  • Solid writing and editing skills; comfortable with basic content design/QA, experience with design tools such as Canva; Adobe InDesign or Illustrator a plus
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with standard marketing and project‑management tech stack tools (Asana or similar)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality

  • 2+ years of experience in beauty, health, or wellness sectors
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
