Job Summary
This is a 19.5 hour per week maximum, part-time student position. This position requires employees who are able to positively represent this Office and the College to various internal and external constituents with a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
The student employee must have effective writing, verbal communication skills, and Microsoft Office skills. Student employees must have a high level of integrity as they may come into contact with confidential information. The student will serve as the first point of contact for the office, perform clerical duties, run errands on campus, and assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Familiarity with D2L, the Library of Congress classification system, and basic computer support is desirable to assist students using the library.
The weekly schedule will be assigned by the supervisor in conjunction with the student's class schedule. The work schedule is subject to change between semesters or as needed. Students are not to work during scheduled class time, even if class is cancelled or dismissed early.
