Full-Time Administrative Assistant

Are you highly organized, proactive, and looking to be a key part of a growing team? We're hiring a Full-Time Administrative Assistant for our Summerville office. This in-office position supports daily operations, assists Project Engineers, and helps maintain a positive, efficient work environment.

What You'll Do:

In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for a variety of administrative, operational, and support tasks that help keep our team productive and our office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to local staff and Project Engineers
  • Maintain document retention systems and organize physical/digital records
  • Proactively identify areas where help is needed and offer solutions
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and office schedules
  • Prepare bid documents, contracts, internal reports, memos, and documentation
  • Run local errands (mileage reimbursed)
  • Maintain office supplies and order as needed
  • Assist at Reception, such as answering phone calls and greeting visitors
  • Assist with employee relations tasks/events as directed, supporting team morale and communication
  • Help foster a positive and inclusive office environment
  • Take initiative to solve problems, think outside the box, and improve workflows
  • Support Project Managers in monitoring and tracking project schedules, budgets, and overall project performance
  • Assist Project Engineers in preparing, maintaining, and distributing project reports and related documentation
  • Assist in maintaining company fleet vehicles and assist employees with company credit card receipts
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and consistency
  • Support and contribute to a company-wide safety culture by following established safety standards, policies, and best practices, helping to ensure a safe environment for employees, clients, and the public
