Chipton-Ross is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity in North Kansas City, MO.
*12 month extendable contract position*


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

2-3 Years' experience in a manufacturing office.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work with little supervision.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other PC applications. SAP experience is desired. Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience desired.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports compliance with AIMS, ISO9001 and ISO45001 policies and standards. Supports pre-hire requirements and serves as coordinator for new hire onboarding process at NKC. Point of contact at NKC for coordinating on-site interviews of prospective employees a. Supports coordination and orientation process for all new employees. Arranges all pre-employment testing and screenings. Assigns orders FR uniforms, assigns lockers, provides access to computer systems, e-mail, and software appropriate for job assignment; coordinates workspace/offices and office supplies) Sets up hourly employees for biometric based time-clock (for payroll). Provides daily support, answers, supplies, etc. for new employees to enable a smooth and rapid transition to their new working assignment. Assists employee set up benefits, direct deposit, tax forms, and other HR related documents. Supports NKC leadership team with AIMS Element 2 documentation for tracking, managing, and coordination of HR audit materials in order to maintain compliance with Arkema policies and regulatory agencies. ·Coordinates Dashboard Pillar 6 (people systems) for the NKC site. Initiates and coordinates community relation events under guidance of NKC Leadership team. Serves as Wellness Champion for the site · Coordinates paperwork for the tuition reimbursement program. Provides administrative billing support for HR related vendors (ex. TalentWise, WorkSpend). ·Serves as the administrative support coordinator for social media planting on ANNA and Facebook. ·Fist point of contact for all HR related questions; works closely with Regional HR Manager Biweekly payroll processing for hourly and salary non-exempt staff. ·Maintains HR data and prepares reports from SAP HRMS ·Maintains HR files, including I-9 and E-Verify.

Supports SAP requisitioning and invoice processing site wide. Prepares and releases blanket and individual requisitions through SAP. Order miscellaneous supplies for the plant/maintenance department (using P-card). Provides general administrative support for all office personnel as needed. Key organizer for plant meetings and site functions, including arranging facilities and caterer's. Serves as the Document Control Administrator for NKC (SharePoint, eDMS, physical library, and W: drive). ·Arranges meals/catering for classes, meetings, and special events. Documents weekly, monthly, and other NKC site team meetings (IMPACT). First contact for all customers, visitors, solicitors, contractors, and calls to the site. Manages small capital projects for office and site upgrades (renovations, upgrades, etc.). Manage site visitors and provide safety training in absence of HESQ Specialist

Serves as primary back up to the HESQ Specialists. Weekly inspection and documentation of RCRA satellite accumulation areas, 90 day hazardous waste areas, eye wash, safety showers, and emergency equipment (shelter and spill kits). ·Monthly inspection and resupply of First Aid kits. Monthly inspection and documentation of AEDs and Fire Extinguishers. ·Maintains inventories of all PPE and safety supplies for HES department Miscellaneous - 10% Completes miscellaneous projects assigned by department leaders.

Accredited high school diploma.


WORK HOURS:

Full time, 7am-4pm M-F
