Company Description
This Hagel & Company demonstration instance provides a means to add one or more company descriptions to its library. Entering a company description in the library means you only have to enter it once. Each time you create a new job template, you simply import the company description of choice. No typing needed.
With one or more company descriptions in the library from which to choose, new job templates can be quickly assembled by simply importing a fully-written company description into the job template in order for that description to appear here when the job is posted. Found a typo? Simply edit the company description in the library and the correction automatically flows to the live posting.
Job Description
Certified nursing assistants work in state, local and private hospitals and are in high demand in nursing homes and long-term care facilities. As a CNA you have to be prepared to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
A certified nursing assistant’s primary responsibility is to assist patients with their daily activities. While some CNAs may have additional responsibilities such as administering medication the core functions of a CNA on the job include:
- Bathing and dressing patients
- Taking vital signs
- Collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses and doctors
- Answering patient calls
- Examining patients for bruises and other injuries/wounds
- Turning or repositioning patients who are bedridden
- Lifting patients into beds, wheelchairs or exam tables
- Cleaning and sanitizing patient areas
- Provide and empty bedpans
- Changing sheets and restocking rooms with necessary supplies
As a CNA, you also serve as a conduit between nurses, doctors and patients and record and communicate all issues to medical staff. Depending on where you work, other duties could include setting up equipment at a nurse or doctor’s request and transporting patients to treatment units and operating rooms.
