Primary Responsibilities:
Provide support to the school library media center under the supervision of the school librarian to ensure a quality library media program that provides resources and services for student success.




  • Provide support for the library media program by assisting students and staff with resources, programs, and events.
    *Support a well-managed, safe, and welcoming environment.
    *Maintain a good rapport with students and staff.
    *Support the promotion of reading programs and events.
    *Encourage enthusiasm for reading and learning.
    *Assist patrons with selecting, locating, and circulating library materials.
    *Identify and gather appropriate library media center resources as needed.
    *Work with the school librarian to implement safe, legal, and ethical use of information.
